Who is Sherry B. Williams?

Sherry is a Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt, trained at the GSU Robinson School of Business, and a proud graduate of the ARC Regional Leadership Institute. Her education and training equip her with the skills necessary to drive effective change in our community. Sherry's passion for public service is evident in her various initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Atlanta residents.

Commitment to Food Justice

One of Sherry's key initiatives is her involvement in the Ebenezer Food Justice Ministry, where she actively addresses food insecurity and promotes equitable access to resources. She believes that everyone deserves access to nutritious food, and she works tirelessly to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.

Empowering Voter Registration

As a Voter Registration Advocate, Sherry has made significant strides in empowering citizens to exercise their right to vote. In collaboration with GCPA, she successfully registered 15,000 Georgians to vote in 2024, including 800 registrations from individuals in jails across metro Atlanta who are awaiting trial. This initiative underscores her dedication to ensuring that every voice is heard and represented in our democracy.

Promoting Health and Wellness

Sherry also leads the Nature Gurlz walking group at Cascade Nature Preserve, where she promotes health and wellness in our community. Her commitment to physical fitness and mental well-being is further exemplified by her personal journey as a four-time breast cancer survivor. Sherry embodies resilience and strength, inspiring others to overcome their challenges and prioritize their health.
